# Product variant images: a color and size mapping table

This is an original fictional example, not product information or measured results. Check it against your actual product. You may copy and edit it for use in your own store.

Do not rely on image names alone. For each SKU, record the physical item ID, main image, detail image, and selected storefront variant in one row. Replace images that show the wrong color; leave items without photos unverified and on hold. Keeping these issues separate makes incorrect assignments of similar images easier to find.
